How to care for your custom knife:

  • NO KNIVES ARE DISHWASHER SAFE! Hand wash only with mild soap and water.

  • High carbon steels (1084, 1095, 15N20, 80CrV2, etc.) will rust if left wet. To avoid this, always wash and dry immediately after use, getting wet, or being exposed to any chemicals.

  • Dry knife with a soft cloth only. Never use abrasives on it.

  • Make sure to apply a thin coat of food-safe oil to the steel routinely to prevent corrosion and maintain the natural finish and shine.

  • To ensure long-lasting performance, regularly sharpen your blade and use a honing rod designed for the style of knife you have.
